Our treatments

We offer a variety of treatments within plastic surgery, general surgery and medical skin care.

Breast surgery

Breast implants, breast lift, breast reduction, fat grafting to the breast, inverted nipples, male breast reduction (gynecomastia).

Body contouring surgery

Liposuction, fat transplantation, abdominoplasty, thigh lift, upper arm lift.

Intimate surgery

Reduction of inner labia, liposuction of the mons pubis, tight foreskin (phimosis).

Face / neck surgery

Facelift, forehead lift, rhinoplasty, heavy eyelids, eyebrow lift, bags under the eyes, chin/neck liposuction, neck tightening, protruding ears and earlobe correction.

Scar correction

Scars can be caused by injury or previous surgery. The purpose of scar correction is to improve or camouflage the existing scar.

Medical injection treatment

Botox is the most widely used cosmetic treatment for facial wrinkles. The treatment is divided according to which part of the face is treated and how many areas are treated.

Hernia

Small hernias that have lasted a short time usually do not require any treatment other than removal of the hernia sac and suturing it again. In the case of larger hernias, the abdominal wall must also be reinforced to prevent recurrence.

Fat globules

Fat globules are a benign overgrowth of fat cells, and are often felt better than they are seen. Fat globules are removed surgically. They appear as balls in the fatty tissue under the skin, and are very common.

Fillers

Fillers are used for volume, contour and skin rejuvenation in the face. It works by placing a hyaluronic acid gel under the skin, thereby lifting up depressions and unevenness in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the skin, and does not affect facial expressions or expressions. Hyaluronic acid is used to fill in wrinkles and scars, highlight facial contours, enlarge lips, or restore skin elasticity.

Moles

If a mole is suspicious for cancer, we at Østfold Plastic Surgery can remove it with a simple procedure under local anesthesia.

Green Peel

Hand surgery

Carpal tunnel syndrome (nerve compression at the wrist), tendonitis (ganglion), trigger finger (stenotic tendovaginitis).

Sterilisation (men)

Sterilisation is the safest method of contraception, and involves cutting the spermatic cord in a so-called vasectomy. Sterilisation is basically permanent contraception. Male sterilisation is most often successful and without complications.

Treatment for excessive sweating

Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) can be treated through liposuction. The treatment involves sucking out fatty tissue and sweat glands through small tubes that are inserted under local anesthesia. The effect of the treatment is permanent.

Medical chemical peel

Chemical peeling is a method for effective skin renewal and repair of various skin damages such as wrinkles, acne, pigmentation and sun damage. With chemical peeling we work with stabilized hydroxy acids and vitamin A acids in various strengths.

Dermapen

Dermapen is an advanced fractional form of microneedling that increases the skin's collagen production. The treatment method is more effective than, for example, mild peels. Dermapen is the most performed form of microneedling, with 2 million treatments performed globally. Dermapen reduces wrinkles and lines, provides firmer and younger skin and a visible improvement in the general skin condition already after the 1st treatment. A new generation of treatment with amazing results.

AquaGold

AquaGold is often called "The Golden Cocktail" and is among the hottest treatments in medical skincare from the USA, where celebrities such as Kim Kardashian use Aqua Gold in their monthly skincare routine.

Microneedling

Advanced fractional microneedling treatment increases the skin's collagen production. New production of natural elastic components in the skin can be compared to the effect of a milder fractional laser, however with much fewer side effects and shorter healing time.
